For those of you keeping track, Mr. Lovenstein Presents: Failure is officially the 8th most funded webcomics kickstarter ever and in the TOP 50 (#49, we'll take it!) of ALL COMICS Kickstarters! We really can't believe it!
So, what comes next? - BackerKit!
Some of y'all have used BackerKit before, so you're familiar with these next steps, but for first time backers and previous ones who just like being caught up, here's a quick BackerKit 101 so you all know where to go from here.
BackerKit is a pledge managing portal that you will be using to make sure you get the correct stuff sent to the correct address!You will receive an email in about 2-3 weeks, and from there you will be able to review your order as well as confirm your mailing address. This is also where you'll be able to add specific add-ons to your order (like the puzzle or the pins) with the credit you added to your pledge, but don't worry if you didn't add any extra funds during the campaign, just click on the extra things you want in BackerKit and you'll be charged for the additional amount. That's right--you can still buy as many add-ons as you want!
As a reminder, there is anadditional shipping charge for all add-ons, so if you added funds already to your pledge, you may still need to add a bit more in BackerKit to cover those costs.
You can expect the email in 2-3 weeks. Once received, please make sure to fill out your Backerkit survey as soon as possible! We'll also let you know when it's been sent in a future update.
Ongoing Communication
It's been so fun getting to know the Fail Fam during the campaign! While we're off making sure everything gets made to the best of our ability, our communication will shift slightly from what it was during the Kickstarter, when we were responding to your emails and your comments all day every day! Going forward, pleasebe patient and allow at least a few daysfor a response once things really start turning - but we will get back to you ASAP. That goes for emails, messages in the Kickstarter campaign message inbox, and comments on the updates and main page. As for backer updates, we want to share every minute of this awesome journey with you, so we will be posting at least one update per month--and sometimes more--until the book is in your hands.
For those new to Kickstarter, this is all about the process. This platform allows you to be with us every step of the way while we work with Justin to get you all your awesome stuff!

Well, with all this success going around we suppose it’s nice to have one aspect of this campaign remain on brand. It is with great sadness that we announce that Justin has FAILED to complete the impossible puzzle…which, I suppose shouldn’t be THAT surprising given the name. What would y’all have won if he had completed the puzzle in time? I guess we’ll never know…
