Fail Friends!
Wow! What an incredible first day of the campaign! We’re overwhelmed by the response of the Mr. Lovenstein community and we can’t thank y’all enough for supporting our sweaty book as much as you have – and we’re just getting started!
And after yesterday’s amazing first day, we’ve embraced the #FailUp mentality to the tune of over $73k from over 1100 backers worldwide -- we’re truly failing to fail and it’s all because of you! Only 2k left until we unlock our next stretch goal – a free sloth poster, and level 2 of the DEATH NUT CHALLENGE!

We’re also extremely grateful to the all-star roster of webcomics artists who contributed their own Failure-themed guest comics in support of the campaign, and now thanks to your support, we’ve been able to add their comics to the book! Go you!
As a special treat, we’ll be spotlighting each webcomic individually over the next eight days -- here’s a look at the comic by our friend Rob Denbleyker from Cyanide & Happiness.

Our sweaty campaign is failing fast and failing often! We can’t believe how far we’ve come in such a short amount of time – and it’s all thanks to you!
TWO MORE STRETCH GOALS UNLOCKED!
As you can see, you’ve unlocked the Die-Cut Dust Jacket, which will now be included with ALL PHYSICAL BOOKS! The design on this sucker is really amazing and will look spectacular on your shelf, so early congratulations on your superb taste!
As for the Death Nut Challenge, Justin is preparing his mind and body as we speak, and barring something unexpected, Justin will be live-streaming LEVEL ONE tomorrow at 2pm PT / 5pm ET, so keep an eye on Justin’s twitch and twitter ! (And please don't try this at home, like for real -- they're SO spicy, y'all!)

Fail Friends!
WE DID IT! We failed faster and harder than we could have possibly imagined! The Mr. Lovenstein community has really showed up in full force for this one – thanks so much for making this our biggest failure yet!
All of us here on the Fail Squad (including Justin and the folks here at Skybound) are so excited to go on this crazy journey with you, and we can’t wait to reveal all the surprises we have in store. And with that, our first batch of stretch goals!
REVEALED: STRETCH GOALS BATCH 1
That’s right, our first stretch goal was lovingly set at $40,420 in honor of....something, we forget, but it doesn’t matter because it’s already been FUNDED! Now we’ll be adding eight incredible guest comics to the book, which will be revealed over the course of the next eight days!
Our next goal is this incredible die-cut dust jacket, to make your books extra stylish and dust-free! Don’t worry, we cut a hole for Gabe to peek through – he doesn’t like the dark.
Finally, we bring you the DEATH NUT CHALLENGE! We don’t know why Justin keeps doing this to himself, but we hold you all personally responsible. Here's a look at what happened last time:
LIVESTREAM: IMPOSSIBLE PUZZLE CHALLENGE
What have we done?
And now for another surprise! In the spirit of failure, we’ve custom made this basically impossible 2000-piece puzzle for Justin to work on throughout the campaign. Will Justin be able to finish it before the clock runs out? Who knows. Was this a terrible idea? Probably. BUT if for some reason he IS able to complete the puzzle before the Kickstarter ends...well, then you’ll all receive a VERY special surprise!
Tune in today at 12 PT/3 ET right here on Twitch to wish Justin luck and, in all likelihood, watch his slow and inevitable failure... We can’t believe he agreed to this, honestly. Justin will be streaming every Tuesday, Friday and on the weekends throughout the campaign, so come celebrate Justin’s puzzle failure and see what other shenanigans he gets up to, and who might pop in to say hello!
